Privacy policy

This policy describes the personal-use application Motifuel YouTube Codex, including its separate Motifuel and Wanted Again channel configurations.

Data accessed and purpose

With the channel owner's Google consent, the local application accesses YouTube channel identifiers, video metadata, upload and publishing status, and authorized analytics or revenue reports. It processes owner-selected video files and metadata to carry out requested uploads, scheduling, metadata changes and reporting. It uses the official YouTube Data, Analytics and Reporting APIs.

Authorization and storage

Google handles sign-in and consent. The application receives access and refresh tokens, not the owner's Google password. Credentials are kept in separate local credential directories for the two channels, outside the content projects. Local video files, upload manifests, API results and downloaded reports may remain on the owner's computer until the owner deletes them. Stored credentials remain until removed or replaced; revoking access prevents future authorized API calls.

Sharing and processing

Selected videos, metadata and authorization requests are transmitted to Google and YouTube to perform the requested action. When used through Codex, requested API results and selected content may be processed by the owner's configured assistant service to complete that action. The application does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. The owner controls which content is published to YouTube and its audience.

Limited use

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used to provide the owner-requested channel management features, not to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.

This information website

This website hosts only application information and this policy. It has no login, upload form, advertising, analytics scripts or application cookies. Cloudflare delivers the pages and may process network information such as IP addresses, request times and security signals for hosting and security. OAuth tokens and channel data are not stored on this website.

Revocation and deletion

The owner can revoke this application's Google access at Google Account connections, and remove its local credential files, downloaded reports and upload records from the computer. Revocation or local deletion does not remove videos already uploaded to YouTube; those remain under the channel owner's control in YouTube Studio.
